Bonjour,
I hope to participate in this test on the resistance of the
cactuses. As one can see on the photos, I possess a small collection
of cactus (not all the
cactus are on the photos) and a greenhouse to
shelter them during the winter
month.
I live in Valais, in Switzerland, in the city of Sion, elevation 500
m , in the middle of the Alps,. The climate is quite dry and cold
in the winter.
The minimal temperatures can reach -20° but very rarely (1 time in
10 years) and only during some hours (at dawn). The medium on dawn
hours are rather around -5°, 0°. During the day the temperature
can rise to 23° but usually around the 15°.
It rains on average 500ml / year and about 2150 hour of sun / year.
I have a greenhouse (see the photo) that doesn't descend below 5° in
the winter but may to get up until 25° the day. Otherwise the
cactuses that should remain in full air will remain on the balcony
near the greenhouse sheltered by rain….
…this test is a very good idea! |
