| My name is Moldovan Florin from
Bucharest, Romania and
I would be more than delighted to participate in your
Winter Test. My collection comprises more than 100
species of cacti (both topical and hardy), with at
least two plants of each species, and 52 species of
succulents, all in two locations Here in Bucharest I have
my "miscellaneous" section, with plants such as Litchi
chinensis or Zamioculcas zamiifolia and the aquatic
plants. |

A BALDANA (35 Kilometres
East of Bucharest)
a plain location 52 meters above sea level- with extreme
temperatures (45 degrees Celsius in the summer and minus 25 in
winter) |

B PROVITZA (A superb
village & kilometres West of Campinia)
a mountain depression location -507 m - with a mild climate, but
more rainy. |

| The winter test plants: |

August 25 2003: I have received the plants on Thursday - they are
lovely. I will weight them and make pictures AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
August 25 2003: The plants have been potted up
(for now). The reason for that is for me to send you weight data on a
monthly basis. When they arrived the plants weighted in around Ten
Metric Grams (9,6; 11; 13; 10,2; 9,8; 8,2). Pictures will follow soon
with both the locations and the plants (plus the pictures I could not
send last time). |
