This is a picture of my house( July 26, 2003) You can't see many succulents in this picture but I have several beds full of cacti and succulents around the house, some with winter hardy cacti but two large beds on each side of the driveway near the garage have extensive summer plantings of non hardy succulents.
Side outdoor beds: Opuntia & Coryphantha vivipara.

The test plants in their new home.

Pedios & Scleros outdoors.

August 23 2003 The plants are slightly etiolated and desiccated after their trip through the mail so I am giving them special treatment to readjust and rejuvenate without damage. Thank you for the plants!!!

November 23 2003 So far the weather here is still unusually mild, 7C today and overcast. We
have had several hard frosts (-3C) and it is already rather damp. The Pedios
and sclero from Italy have now been outdoors here in Hamilton, Ontario,
Canada, for several months and still look fine!
