climate: the statistics are very find to access and that's what I can find in an atlas:
- average January: -3;
- average July: 23;
- absolute minima: -32 and -35(there are 2 meteo stations here, south-in the city limits and north-5 km from the city, where is also The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology)
- absolute maxima: 42;
- frost-free days: 200;
- tropical days (over 30 deg.): 50-60;
- rainfall: 560mm/year.

August 30 2003: The test plants just repotted
			The plants revert to their colour and the hot sun is not dangerous anymore for them. Very hot here, 36-38C those days, and no rain...
