Hello from Minneapolis, the biggest big city with the greatest range
in temperature in the US between winter and summer.
I am interested in participating in the winter test. I have
attached the photos you requested, although I have more cactus
than the third photo suggests.
The elevation here in Minneapolis is 830 feet at the airport,
about 244 meters.
The average high and low in January is 22 F and 4 F (or roughly
-5 c to -15 c)
The average high and low in July is 84 F and 62 F (or roughly 29
c to 17 c)
Average annual rainfall is around 28 inches or 70 cm
The climate here is extreme continental.
