it may concern,
My name is László Török. I am a
Hungarian collector. It is very difficult for us in Hungary to get a
Pediocactus and Sclerocactus plants..... I would like to join the Winter
test club. I
live in the town Tatabánya, in Hungary.
Tatabánya (47°33-N, 18°26-E) is in Hungary in the county Komárom-
Esztergom.
The middle of temperature in January:-2 °C.
The middle of temperature in June: +20 °C.
The middle of temperature in the year: +10°C.
The mean yearly rainfall is: 600mm.
I am interested in frost-resistant cactuses for same years, for the
moment I have 1000 plants.
I have 500 m2 area. It was the highest temperature +39 °C, the
lowest temperature -22°C in the environment of collection.

Valentino,
I had got the plants safe. I planted them. The photo shows it. Thank you.
For the moment the plants are in a unheated greenhouse, because the
place in the open-air is not ready (because of the weather). The plants
will be on their own place in this month. Best wishes ...László Török |

Dear Valentino!
Each of the plants overlived the winter. The smallest temperature was
-22°C. The two Pediocactus blossom now.

Dear Valentino!
Each of the plants overlived the winter.
The smallest temperature was -16°C in glasshouse because it was
abnormal winter weather, so I can't in the open air to keep the
flowers. The Sclerocactus blossom now. I would be pleased, if I
could test some other types of cactuses!
