Clambering cactus, with light green cylindrical stems free branching from the base 20-90 cm long. Flowers white to clear pink.
 

 Exposure: Light sun to bright bright, avoid full sun, need porous soil good drainage

Holotype:
Mexico: From cultivated Material, J. MARNIER‑LAPOSTOLLE, Les Cedres, France [P]

Synonyms: Wilcoxia albiflora C. BACKEBERG.

Section:

Distribution: Mexico: Sonora, Guaymas,‑ Sinaloa, Los Mochis: ‑ elevation 50 m above sea level.

Description: Basally branching   5-7 mm in diameter  with 8 superficial ribs, distance between areoles 3-5 mm ; 9-18 small thin yellowish or white radial spines 1-1,5 mm long, 2-5 centrals  1-1,5 mm long.
Each plant forms 4-8 roundish apical tubers at the main roots, these measure  50-80 mm in diameter and are dark-grey to brown.
