Synonyms: Almost equal 
     
  Nearly equal, approximately or almost equal in size, form, or other characters.  
     
Generally refers to the length of the elements or parts of a plant organ or structure (e.g. petals in a flower, spine in a spine cluster, etc.) when these appear to be approximately but not necessarily exactly equal in length. Not quite equal.
