Synonyms: Drench, Impregnate, Insteep, Saturate, Sodden

Soil saturated with water.

Condition of land when the water table stands at or near the land surface, reaching into the root zone, or of growing substrate completely filled with water and may be detrimental to plant growth. Waterlogged condition may also promote root rot in sensitive species.
