Description: Low growing succulent sub-shrub on woody roots, up to 20cm tall, leaves pale, short, rounded, stony  3-4 cm long. Large white flowers in winter.

Origin:  Southafrica

Conservation status: Listed in CITES appendix 2.

Etymology: Named after Jutta Dinter, wife of K. Dinter

Synonyms:

  • Mesembryanthemum insolitum L.Bolus
  • Juttadinteria elizae (Dinter & A.Berger) L.Bolus
