Such compounds adjective are readily formed whenever convenient, and
several, as paperlike, (like a paper) leaflike, (like a leaf) tuberlike,
(like a tuber) etc. are used in this botanical glossary, although, in
some cases, not entered in the vocabulary. Such combinations as
bell-like,
ball-like, etc., are hyphened.
