  Flavonoids is a class of plant pigments occurring in yellow, orange, red and blue. They create many of the intense colours of flowers and fruits.  
     
Flavonoid pigments come in a wide variety of colours due to structural variations and differences in concentration. Anthocyanins pigments are members of the flavonoids class
