Description: Produces lots of sculptural
green
monstrous and
crested shapes with very short reddish
spines and
woolly
areoles.
Note: Some time this plant (of unknown
origin) is confused with 'Cereus validus fa. monstrose
cristate cv. Ming Thing' which is quite
different having a blue epidermis with black spines.
Cultivation: Prefers
filtered light. Plant in a
porous
cactus soil with adequate
drainage for best results. Water thoroughly during the
growing season when soil is
dry to the touch. Less or no water during cold
winter months to prevent
root loss. Protect from
frost.
