[Formed by the prefix "Sub-" meaning partly, somewhat  + "Globose" meaning at ball-shaped]
 
Subglobose represent the shape of a plant organ (especially found in pollen granules, fruit, stems, flowers  or seeds) that is somewhat globose, but not having the perfect shape of a sphere or ball.
