Noun: Nakedness
Synonym:
Glabrous, Nude, Bare, Denuded, Uncovered, exposed,
Unarmed, plain, Defenceless.
     
  1 The opposite of covered. Having no natural covering in the form of earth, vegetation, or foliage  
2 Smooth; not ornamented in any way by hairs, scale or other structures. Without pubescence as, a naked leaf or stem; (Synonym: glabrous )
3 Bare, devoid of the customary organ or appendages.
 
Lacking various organs, hairs or appendages as a flower without a perianth (petals or sepals), a stem without leaves, a seed without a pericarp (e.g. conifer seeds, which are not enclosed in an ovary) , a seed which lack endosperm (e.g. orchid seeds), a buds without bud scales. etc.
