  Fleshy fruit are those fruits in which part or all of the pericarp (fruit wall) contains a more or less soft, fleshy and juicy  pulp around the seed or seeds.  
     
For example:
1) Fleshy simple fruits: derived from a single ovary (e.g. berries, hesperidiums, pepos, drupe or stones, pomes
2) Fleshy aggregate fruits: derived from a single flowers with many carpels or ovaries (e.g. polydrupes )
3) Fleshy multiply fruits: derived from compound independent flowers  (e.g. figs, pineapple)
